What this funds

Commissions pay for maintaining the spec database, the runtime modeling, and the free instruments (the calculator and verdict pages). There are no sponsored placements, no paid reviews, and no manufacturer relationships that touch editorial output.

What this never changes

WattScores and verdicts are computed from the spec database with documented weights before affiliate links are attached. A station that scores poorly keeps its poor score; we link to it anyway so you can check pricing yourself.

How links are marked

Affiliate links route through /go/ on this domain and carry rel="nofollow sponsored". Every page containing them displays a disclosure notice above the first link, per FTC guidance (16 CFR Part 255).
